ABOUT
Hi! My name is Sunshine Nguyen. I was born and raised in Vietnam. My art journey started when I was 5 years old, and it is still going strong today.
Since I was young, I studied at an art school. In 2018, I won the National Champion title for section C (ages 11 – 14) at Global Art, an art school in Malaysia that hosts annual competitions. I then traveled to Myanmar for the international competition, where I finished 3rd. Later, in 2020, I studied abroad in Minnesota, USA.
In 2023, during my junior year of high school, I entered my art in the Minnesota High School League Award competition, which includes categories for sports, academics, and art. My piece, “Midnight Project 6th”, was chosen by the judges for the section 4A Art Spotlight, with an exhibition held to showcase the winners. In 2024, ” The Savior We Need” chosen to be the cover of MLC (Martin Luther College, Minnesota) for 2024 devotion week. You can read and view the artwork on their website and WELS church.
Now I am studying at Ringling College of Art and Design and majoring in Computer Animation.
